People collaborate around a large digital display showing graphs and the word "PROPOSAL"; a modern office setting with a busy atmosphere.

A large defense contractor prime leading multiple subcontractors needed full proposal and presentation design support for a high-stakes bid. The project required clear visual alignment across technical volumes and orals materials with tight turnaround and multi-team coordination. Patriot Data Graphics (PDG) collaborated directly with SMEs, engineers, and writers to create over 150 branded infographics and slide visuals, helping the client present a cohesive and compelling story that demonstrated technical mastery and operational excellence.

AT A GLANCE

CUSTOMER CHALLENGES

  • Coordinating multiple subcontractors under one proposal vision

  • Translating complex technical data into digestible visuals

  • Maintaining brand and message consistency across hundreds of slides

HOW PDG HELPED

  • Created 150+ infographics and presentation visuals

  • Collaborated in real time with SMEs through whiteboarding

  • Delivered cohesive design and messaging across all volumes

OBJECTIVES

The client’s primary goal was simple, win the contract.

They sought a partner who could quickly absorb complex technical data, turn it into engaging graphics, and deliver a fully branded proposal and orals deck that visually represented the solution end-to-end. PDG’s deliverables included over 150 graphics, spanning system diagrams, process workflows, and branded visual elements that unified the entire proposal package.

SOLUTION

PDG approached the challenge with a two-person rapid-response model. One team member embedded with subject matter experts (SMEs) to capture information in real time through whiteboarding sessions and live sketches, while the other transformed those visuals into fully realized, vector-based infographics. The team’s face-to-face collaboration and war-room participation gave PDG full visibility into the technical story. By listening to the client’s narrative firsthand and breaking down complex data in smaller follow-up sessions, PDG was able to synthesize information quickly and accurately, reducing revisions and improving precision.

BENEFITS

The resulting proposal was down-selected with positive customer feedback and recognized for its clarity and cohesive design. Because PDG fully understood the client’s vision and solution architecture, the internal team could remain hands-off, trusting PDG to deliver accurate, on-brand visuals without micromanagement.Beyond the immediate success, the project yielded:

  1. Reusable branded templates for future efforts

  2. Improved workflows between proposal and design teams

  3. A trusted partnership that delivers strategic visual solutions
